Description:
This course deals with diagnosing and management of different maxillofacial disorders and preparing patients for surgery and performing different surgical procedures.
Intended learning outcomes:
At the end of this course the students should be able to:
Diagnose  and construct  the treatment plan for most of the cases of oral and maxillofacial disorders
Asses both the surgical , as well as the general medical condition of the patient
Be responsible from his patient and prepare him for surgery; prepare the necessary investigations, consultations and finish the steps to make him ready him for operation.
Anticipate diagnosis and manage complications resulting from the surgical procedures.
Perform the following procedures:  enucleation of cysts, removal of impacted wisdom teeth , non surgical management of TMJ , …. etc.
