Description:
This course deals with management of Oral and Maxillofacial emergencies.
Intended learning outcomes:
At the end of this course the students should be able to:
Assess a patient's condition in the emergency room rapidly and accurately.
Triage patients in the emergency room, and be familiar on how to resuscitate and stabilize patients according to priority.
Manage airway emergency and how to secure and the patient's airway.
Determine a patient's needs and when to transfer the patient to another facility.
Be familiar with general body trauma and intercommunicate with other trauma specialties. 
Anticipate and manage medical emergencies in the clinic or operating room and when to activate the emergency service.
Be familiar with the emergency drugs, when and how to use them.
