Education is our national priority. A properly educated nation can generate better societal and economic values, and contribute to the prosperity of the country. The growing quality-driven trend at all levels will raise the bar of satisfaction of all stakeholders. People are the most important part of any organization. Under this simple philosophy, Quality Management system emphasizes people management practices as its foundation for achieving high quality products and services. The ISO certification process focuses on institutions working toward improving quality education through continuous improvement and meeting quality standards. In addition to implementing a continuous improvement culture, it is also important for an organization to pay serious attention to certain elements critical in supporting a successful TQM implementation. These elements include top management commitment, customer focus, supplier quality management, benchmarking, performance monitoring, employee empowerment, employee involvement, teamwork and employee training. We should be working as a team to inform, respond to and, with partners, take forward quality assurance to meet new demands and enhanced expectations.
We are proud to be an ISO-certified institution, but we will not be satisfied if it stays on papers. Therefore, the next step would be the implementation of the system and upgrading to a higher level. Quality is everybody business by complying with the system standards. Effective implementation of ISO 9001 quality standards by educational institutions can play a key role in fulfilling requirements and exceeding expectations.
