Chairman Message

  On behalf of all faculty and staff of the Department of Periodontics and Community Dentistry, I would like to welcome you to our virtual home. The Department of Periodontics and Community Dentistry is one of six major departments of the College of Dentistry at King Saud University. 

  As part of fulfilling our mission and objectives, the department is dedicated to providing quality education and training to our undergraduate and postgraduate students. In pursuing the department’s research mission, our faculty members conduct and disseminate research on timely, relevant and vital topics across the dental and oral health disciplines. A core component of our mission is to provide compulsory services to our community. Our faculty and trained dental students are engaged in several community service activities such as school children educational programs and promotion plans of oral health to the public at large. Also, our faculty conduct various applied research projects to identify and cope with various public concerns related to oral health.

  At the Department, we are proud of our achievements and striving to satisfy or our vision and objectives.
